The Dean of Students Office works closely with campus and community partners to facilitate timely information to students about annual events such as Halloween and unsanctioned Deltopia celebrations within Isla Vista. In partnership with the Major Events Committee, we work with student leaders to promote safety and alternative events, and facilitate conversations between the students and UCSB administration, Santa Barbara County officials, and the Santa Barbara Sheriff's Office to address issues and concerns that may arise around these unsponsored occurrences.
